Cancellation Policy

Booking & Cancellation Policy Thank you for choosing Najah Z Photography to capture your special moments! To ensure a seamless experience and secure your date on our calendar, please review our official booking guidelines below. 1. Securing Your Date (Retainer & Contract) • Retainer Fee: A non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve your session date and time. This fee is applied directly toward your total balance. • Signed Contract: All bookings require a signed photography agreement (sent securely via Dropbox Sign). • Calendar Hold: Dates are strictly first-come, first-served. Your session is not officially locked into our calendar until both the retainer is paid and the contract is signed. 2. Final Payment Balance • Portrait Sessions: The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your scheduled shoot. • Weddings & Major Events: The remaining balance must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to your wedding or event date. 3. Rescheduling & Weather • Client Rescheduling: We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Your retainer can be transferred to a new date within [3 months] of the original booking. • Inclement Weather: For outdoor beach or location shoots in the Corpus Christi area, we monitor weather forecasts closely. If high winds, storms, or heavy rain threaten your session, we will make the call together to reschedule at no additional cost. 4. Cancellations & No-Shows • Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your session entirely rather than reschedule, please note that the initial retainer fee remains non-refundable, as it covers the loss of booking other potential clients for that time slot. • Late Arrival: Arriving more than [15 or 20] minutes late without notice may result in a shortened session or a canceled appointment with forfeiture of your retainer. 5. Image Delivery Timeline • Portraits: Your fully edited digital gallery will be delivered within [1-2 weeks] of your session. • Weddings: Due to the extensive care and detail required, wedding galleries are delivered within [3-4 weeks].
